I’m a little Jealous of the T-Mobile G1 Today

Honestly, despite the hype surrounding the Google phones, Android, and the T-Mobile G1, I have had almost no interest what-so-ever. That changed just a little bit today. Graham Stewart, a programmer from Ohio, has developed a proxy application that will allow a user to tether a laptop to his/her phone for road-warrior surfing goodness.
That's right, the G1 will allow tethering. My iPhone allowed tethering for a day. That is before AT&T and Apple Freaked out and yanked the Netshare application from the iTunes store. It would appear that the T-Mobile and Google don't have any reservations about letting the G1 be used the way God intended 3G phones to be used.
I am still not sold on the G1, and I couldn't imagine going to T-Mobile where I live, but I must admit that as new handsets come out, and more functionality explodes across the smartphone universe, my iPhone is losing some of its luster.
What do you think? What functionality is missing from your favorite phone, and on what phone do you find it on?

The only thing i wished that my phone had was more power for mobile gaming and a touch screen. My top pick for my next cell phone is the Krave. http://motorola.com/krave. Ever since I started working with Motorola I’ve became a huge fan of the style of the phone, and it has the features that my current phone does not have. I’m interested to see what other readers are interested in upgrading to.
