If Cell Phones Were Free…Would You Want One?
Google; where will they go next? Apparently they're going into cell phone advertising, or so says this piece on Gear Live. The search engine giant is working on a system with a British Telecom that will allow people to buy products through their phones – and they're working on creating cell phone advertising, too. Google's CEO speculates that cell phone ads might eventually make cell phones completely free, but it does make me wonder: would you want a free phone running text ads or would you prefer to pay a bit more not have to your phone serve you keywords.

Google is definitely taking over the world. But I don’t believe that phones will be free. Well, maybe you’ll have to use it for a year with ads and if you’ll loose it or for some other reasons will not use it, U’ll have to pay for it. Or phones will cost 5-10 times less than other phones. That looks more like true.
I like this idea. But it actually freaks me out! Google will be everywhere soon.
