Ideal Lume LCD Backlight

When you use your computer, do you do it in total darknesslinks or do you work with the overhead lights on? Both these methods won't give you the ideal viewing environment for both the best image quality on your LCD monitor or your TV nor will they provide the environment that is best for your eyes.

Watching TV or using your computer in total darkness produces flashing as the scenes become bright and dark quickly and repeatedly. This can cause eye strain and lead to head aches and other problem. Ideal computer LCD monitor viewing and TV watching is done with correct backlighting of the screen.

By backlighting correctly you can eliminate glare on the screen that can make portions of the screen look too dark or too light. You also eliminate the need for your eye's iris to make frequent adjustments as the room becomes light and dark as the image on screen changes.

To further improve your viewing experience, you want to back light with color correct lighting to ensure you get the best color reproduction and image quality. This is the point where the Ideal Lume light comes in. Ideal Lume is a light that has 6500 Kelvins making for the ideal color reproduction and image quality on your computer LCD screen or TV.

The light is a small fluorescent fixture that you can fix to your wall or place on the desk or tray behind your monitor. The light is a muted, but bright blueish light that produces a soft glow. If you think a simple backlight won't improve your LCD image and color quality, you are very wrong.

Colors really pop when using the Ideal Lume light everything looks deeper and richer. Before the Ideal Lume light, I typically gamed and worked in the dark to avoid screen glare. After a few hours I frequently would have headaches that I attributed to muscle tension. I now believe the problem to have been eye strain cause by improper lighting as I worked. I say this because for the last few weeks that I have been using the Ideal Lume light behind my LCD, I have had virtually no headaches at all.

While I can't say with certainty that the Ideal Lume lighting was the only thing that led to the reduction of head aches I was getting, what I can say for sure is that the Ideal Lume backlighting is the only thing I changed in my work environment. I added no medications and did nothing else differently. I can also say that hands down, the image quality I see when gaming, working and surfing the web is much better with the Ideal Lume backlighting. Gamers if you are the hard core type that drops $500 on the best graphics card, do yourself a favor and spring for an Ideal Lume light for your system. The improvement is well worth the cost of the light. What is the cost? How about a low $49.99, honestly you don't know what you are missing without one.
