The hydra player is projected for people that spend all day in the water (be it on the pool/river/beach) and want to listen to music at the same time. It's a waterproof MP3 player produced by Ultra that was released a couple of days ago, and features a couple of good specs for something that can be used on the water.
Those good features include:
- working as a USB flash drive
- voice recording
- FM radio
- and many more
There are 3 colors and 2 storage capacity models available - black, orange and yellow being the colors - while the storage comes in 1GB and 2GB models; the price is $40 and $60 respectively.
Rewind: Actually, the Hydra is splash resistant and according to Ultra, it is not suppose to be fully immersed under water.
Rubberized trim allows it to stand up to everyday wear-and-tear. It's also protected against accidental splashes, though this device is not designed to be fully immersed or held under running water.
