Storing your images while traveling
With film cameras, you just bought more film, stored the exposed ones carefully, and got them all processed when you got home - easy. Digital Cameras pose a bit of a problem. Unless you want to carry around 15 media cards, you have to find some way to offload your images, and put them somewhere safe.
Last time I was overseas, we had 4 digital cameras, which collectively took about 4,500 images. Fortunately, we also had a couple of iPods, and a Belkin media card reader, so we copied the days photos off (to both iPods - just for redundancy) every night. Worked well, and all images were saved - including, of course, ones that certain people wished had been lost (the joys of cheap beer and holiday high spirits).
