How to Automate Your Lawnmowing Experience...Sort Of

It's not a new idea, but it's certainly a cool one, when you think of all of that time and effort spent mowing the lawn: the Husqvarna Automower. Based on a system of control wires that define boundaries for a small robot, the Automower is a fire and forget sort of weapon. The control wires wrap around any obstacles in your lawn (and the lawn's edges), to prevent the Automower from running outside of the grass or down the street. Three blades inside the robot act like razors to cut the lawn into what Husqvarna claims is "a carpet-like look" while the robot runs around the yard, adjusting the height of your grass to a uniform level and retreating to a charging station when necessary. It all sounds pretty cool in a superfluous, I'd never get that myself sort of way, but what turned me on to the idea in the first place was this article on Kansas.com, where a user describes his own experiences with the Automower…and now I kinda want one.

We love our robotic lawn mowers. Though for half the price of an automower you can get a Robomower which is a much better machine. Or for the same price you can get the state of the art robotic lawn mower the Lawnbott. Check out the full reviews of these machines at http://www.bamabots.com
