How Big Was That Last Earthquake?
As someone who grew up in California, lived in Hawaii, and now lives in the Seattle area, I am all too familiar with earthquakes. They are quite simply a part of life along the Pacific Rim that, quite literally, shakes you up when you least expect it.

If you're not one to wait around for the official reports on the news, and you're dying to know how much shaking you experienced, check out this gadget from Japan-another area in the Pacific Rim-called GraGraph (warning: link in Japanese). It lets you know exactly how much that rumbler got up to on the Richter scale.
