Hee Yong Shin’s Rubik’s Cube MP3 Player

Hee Yong Shin's Rubik's Cube MP3 Player

I realize that MP3 players are getting smaller, that just comes with technology, but now they're just getting weirder. A designer named Hee Yong Shin has created an MP3 Player shaped like that famous flash-in-the-pan of the eighties, the Rubik's Cube.

Of course, you can't use this guy like a real Rubik's Cube, and it only has one color (with four variations). When the cube is half-turned, the headphone jack and USB port are made visible. Once the cube is locked into place, though, the LCD screen and buttons function like any portable media player.

Kudos on the concept, but it might be trite since we are in the 21st century now. I don't know anything about the stats like battery time or memory capacity, so this may be style over substance. However, the Rubik's Cube always looked the sexiest when it was half-turned.
