Hacked Ad Causing Redirects to Malware
Over the past couple of days, many of the blogs in the Creative Weblogging network, including this one, was serving an ad that was redirecting people to a malware site. The issue was intermittent, so not everyone saw the issue and it took a while to track down.

With the help of the various CW editors, the problem was tracked down to a compromised ad. The ad should now be gone and hopefully, we won't see a problem like this again. While Creative Weblogging checks their ads for these kinds of things, apparently the bad guys are stepping up their attempts at hiding the bad stuff.
