Grado GS1000 Headphones

The Grado GS1000 headphones can be considered very peculiar, in a good way of course. If you don't look at the price which is 1 thousand dollars and pay attention to the sound quality, they are well worth the price. Besides featuring one of the best audio performance in headphones available, I also like the design and wood part which is unusual to see on headphones.
For mere mortals like us and 85% of the worldwide population, spending $1,000 on headphones is not a pleasant idea, but if you got the money and are interested in buying the Grado GS100 here is a small excerpt from the PCMag review:
Grado claims that the response of the headphones is flat, and I tend to believe that, but I think the distance from the ear, the foam enclosure, and the wooden housing do something to enhance the bass a bit. Not only were these the best-sounding headphones I've ever tested, they were also the best-sounding headphones at low volumes-where I still experienced a strong sense of bass. And the Grados can certainly hold their own at high volumes.
