Google Goes Chrome - and Soon
As a Apple fan, my browser of choice for navigating the internets is Firefox, with Safari a close second. On a Windows machine, I also like the Safari action, but use Internet Explorer, under duresslinks, and when I have to. I know there are also dedicated Opera and Camino fans out there, and there maybe even a Netscape Dinosaur lurking about. But soon a new browser will be hitting the streets, and Google will be bringing it. Google Chrome is set to be released soon, and if it is anything like Google's other projects, it is going to be hitting hard and with some quality.

Google Chrome is an open sourced browser that is going to feature a privacy mode, an Opera(esque) "speed dial, a Java Script engine name V8, firefox(ish) auto-complete features, and some new tab browsing paradigms. Google does not do anything lightly or half-baked, so I am assuming Google Chrome is going to be spectacular.

Yesterday, Google released information that Chrome might very well be released today. Make sure to check out Google's blog to see if and when Google Chrome will be available for download. While you are waiting, why don't you check out Google's Chrome Comic.
