Give the Sequiam Biometrics BioVault 2.0 the Finger

In case you haven't figured it out, the Sequiam Biometrics BioVault 2.0 is a safe that only needs your finger in order to open. Apparently, there is some type of fingerprint scanner on it that will recognize who you are and open at your command. It will also open at others commands, of course, but only whoever is programmed in. The safe is made to accommodate up to 50 users.
I suppose you could store your valuables like jewelry, gold, and the like, but something tells me this thing is meant to store something like guns. In fact, this device is endorsed by the NRA as a most excellent gun-safety device. I guess that makes sense. I mean, if I ever need to use a gun, I think I could probably open this thing up quick and be ready to fire.
In case you are wondering, the BioVault is powered by AC power or 3 D batteries. It also contains Flash memory so your personal information is stored up in case of a power outage or batteries dying.
If safety is this important to you, keep in mind it comes with a pretty high price: $399.95. You can get this at Sharper Image site now.
