Gigabyte G-Smart i120 Smart Phone

Gigabyte G-Smart i120 Smart Phone

Announced at Computex 2006 last week, Gigabyte seems to be getting into the smart phone area in a big way. Gigabyte may not be a recognizable name to everyone, but they are very big in the computer hardware arena. their new phone uses Windows Mobile 5.0 and has a 2.4" touch screen. As you can see, the little "D" pad is in the lower right corner, which is a bit of a deviation from most designs. It is easy to see from the placement, Gigabyte was attempting to place the "D" pad for thumb navigation. The really cool feature of the phone is the inclusion of a built in TV tuner as well as WiFi, Bluetooth and a 2.0 megapixel camera.

I need a phone that is reliable, with an infrastructure that can support it worldwide and I haven’t found one yet, so adding more infrastruture intensive features means absolutely nothing.
