"German Engineering: astounding. Over a decade of continuous, conceptual continuity."
BMW recently revealed that it could teach Microsoft a thing or two about hyping products with its "New Product" website, a Flash-enabled monstrosity that takes three minutes to load in order to tell you...nothing, pretty much. A bunch of pretty images, a group of floating buzzwords (mp3, DVD, CD, bluetooth, etc.) and the notice that this product, whatever it is, will be available later this month. Then you can download wallpapers which show three different views of the same object, or three different objects, or...who knows, really? Gizmodo thinks it's going to be some sort of super video do-it-all player thing and I'm inclined to agree, although if the thing doesn't drive your car for you knight rider-style I'm going to be disappointed. The world needs a Kit.
