DesignTechnical reviews the new Gateway M275XL.
That certainly is a slick looking unit.

I think the main benefit of a tablet isn't so much the tablet functionality itself - it's that you get that functionality on top of getting a normal laptop. It's the swiss army knife type of thinking - because you can use it more ways, it's more useful overall. Perhaps a dedicated laptop or tablet might perform a little better, just like a knife that's nothing but a knife is better than a swiss army job, but the combination device is the one you use most.
So. Anyone wanna sell me one cheap? I can promise a really thorough review...
