Designtechnica Reviews the Gateway M275 XL, a new tablet PC.
One of these days, I'll get one of these tablets to have a good play with. I think it would suit some of the stuff I do quite nicely - but I don't know that for a fact, so splashing out the few thousand needed to make it work really isn't going to happen.
I'd quite like to be able to sit in the living room with my partner, watch TV, and browse/blog casually - something that's a bit harder to do on a laptop. The form factor of a laptop doesn't really lend itself to that sort of use for me - it's harder to casually pick up and put down, it seems to intrude a bit more. I Imagine that a tablet would be far less intrusive in that way.
Tell you what.. when I manage to get my hands on one, I'll let you all know.
