Fujitsu LIfebook P1510 hits the mini Tablet sweet spot
- 1.2 GHz Pentium M 753 Dothan ULV
- 512 MB RAM (max 1 GB)
- 8.9" Wide SVGA (1024 x 600)
- Intel 915GMS integrated graphics- 128 MB
- 60 GB HDD (SMART)
- Realtek audio
- Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
- 2 USB 2.0, RJ-11, RJ-45, CRT out
- Compact Flash Type II, SD slot
- 802.11 a/b/g (Intel Pro/Wireless)
- Extended battery available
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
That looks about right, for someone wanting a machine that can do pretty much anything, but is still ultra-portable. The keyboard may be an issue - but I guess, for the most part, if you're using it on the go, you'll use it as a tablet - when you're sitting at a desk, you can plug in a keyboard and monitor anyway.
I'd really like to get hold of a tablet for a while, see how I work with it. I'm hopeful that once Apple make the move to Intel processors, they'll come out with a decent implementation... *crosses fingers*
