Well, only a few days after the official release and it looks like Apple's iPad may find itself in the hot seat legally.
Japanese computer maker Fujitsu Ltd claims that it has already introduced a device called the iPAD back in 2002.
Interestingly, Fujitsu's iPAD boasted such features as a touchscreen and wireless Internet access.
Apple has until the end of the month to file an opposition to Fujitsu's trademark application at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. This snag could potentially lead to litigation or even result in a cash settlement. Savvy readers may remember that Apple was forced to come to an agreement with Cisco Systems Inc. back in 2007 as Cisco had already been marketing an Internet telephone called, you guessed it, the iPhone.
