Poynt, a free, all-in-one local search application for BlackBerry smartphones is the perfect application to help users with their Christmas shopping and party planning needs.

Users simply search for a desired store or simply enter "Christmas" as a search string and Poynt provides a list of nearby businesses to fit their needs. Users can then click on a store name to access the phone number, browse the store's website, view the mapped location or get directions.
