For When You're REALLY Strapped for USB Ports
It's true that these times seem to have generated more USB devices that any of us know what to do with and computer manufacturers have responded to the need admirably - you can get USB ports on your monitor now, for pete's sake. But I have to say, even with the lack of ports in mind, this product might be a bit rediculous, especially in a day and age when optical mice have rendered mouse pads almost completely obsolete. But there you have it: Lindy's mouse pad with an LED strip around the side and a four-port USB 2.0 hub in the front, powered by a USB connection (with an optional power adapterlinks in case you can't bear to part with a single port on your PC's case) and made for both ball and optical mouse. First person to plug their mouse into one of the ports get an ironic cheer.
