First Efficeon Laptop in US
The Efficeon is the new CPU from Transmeta, low power, but with improved performance over the much slammed Crusoe chips.
Sharp have also worked the speed up a bit by improving the RAM and increasing the amouht of it – the new Actius MM20 sports 512MB of PC2100 (266-MHz) DDR SDRAM.
For all that they talk about externded batter life, this machine still only boasts around 3 hours under normal conditions – and that's really not much. You can however get an extended battery, which will add another 6 hours.
