The device will primarily be a AA and AAA battery charger, and to accomplish this task, it will utilize either the included AC adapter or the flip-up solar panel. The charger also has a USB out that will provide enough juice (once the batteries are charged) to get an iPhone, iPod, or BlackBerry back to life.
To sweeten the deal, the $50 dollar device will also be weather resistant and the solar panel on it will rotate to make the best of any lighting situation. Overall, the price seems right and the features are tempting. I will be waiting for CES 2009 to the get official details.
