The next time you have a great idea popping out but at the same time don't have any way to write it down, just use your cellphone and a free service called Jott.

How it works:

• sign up for Jott at their website
• when the idea pops out from your head dial the number that Jott provided
• expose your idea by talking (free for messages under 15 seconds)
• wait for the message to arrive in your email

Easy and useful isn't it? According to Mike Elgan the voice recognition system works nicely, and there are other good features such as sending messages to other people that arrive in text mode or using Jott to blog.
