Eizo ColorEdge CE240W 24" LCD

This is the coolest monitorlinks around for image quality. Sure you can get a bigger screen with the 30" Dell and Apple monitors, but can they give you a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 450cd/m2 brightness? Ummm...no they can't.

The Dell and Apple 30" displays can only muster a 700:1 contrast ratio and the brightness of both 30" displays is 400 cd/m2. That makes the Eizo the highest contrast and brightest monitor you are likely to find. Gaming on the 24" Eizo is a dream. The 8ms response time is fast enough that ghosting and smearing is not an issue, while the exceptional brightness and contrast ensure that the picture is exactly as the guys intended your game to look when they programmed it. Native resolution is 1920 x 1200 and the Eizo also has a great 178 degree viewing angle. If size is not all you are after, the Eizo is simply an excellent monitor for work and play.
