EagleTec USB Nano Flash Drive Saves More Than Data

The EagleTec Nano is smaller than a quarter, and when plugged in only sticks out a few millimeters. The entire device only weighs 3 grams, but it can hold either 4GB or 8GB. I see this drive as the perfect companion to Windows Vista ReadyBoost. This is a drive that could stay connected without ever putting your USB port or laptop at risk. With a 15Mb/s read and 6Mb/s write speed, it should meet the ReadyBoost and many other requirments.
The drive is cheap too. Who knew that cutting out all of that manufacturing and fancy LEDs could actually save money. The 4GB drive only costs $22, and the 8GB drive runs $33. It is available now from Brando. Who knows, with the Netbook craze driving things smaller and smaller, maybe EagleTec is onto something here.
