DVD to iPod – Part 2
- Click in the Video tab and in Video parameters change the Video size to 320×240
- Click in the Audio tab and in the Audio Parameters section pick Audio Bit rate between 96 and 160 (bigger bit rate = better sound quality)
-

- Optional – If you want to add subtitles to your movie, go to the Filters tab -> click on Load Subs in the Subtitles section and pick the file with the subtitles.
-

- Optional – Go to the Options tab and click on Two-Pass Encoding. This will increase the video quality in cost of a longer codification time.
-

- Optional – Still in the Options tab, in Scaling Mode: If the original movie has a resolution bigger than 320×240 choose bilinear. If you're copying an Original DVD, (which you should) the resolution is certainly bigger than 320×240 so seriously, choose bilinear. (to make sure what size the resolution is go to the Summary tab, in Source Format section, check Video option. In my case it's 720×576)
