Dell Markets Insults Directly to Women
Granted, I am male. I might completely misunderstanding this marketing angle, but it seems to me that Dell's new Della website is completely insulting to women. Della - Dell with the feminine 'a, helps women figure out which pretty, painted, stylish netbook is both "cute" and practical. They offer lots of "stylish" laptops with plenty of "hot" designs.

The language, in my opinion, is completely a slap in the face. The insults do not stop there; Dell also goes out of their way to insult a women's intelligence:

Once you get beyond how cute they are, you'll find that netbooks can do a lot more than check your email.

Yes, that is a quote for all of you women that don't realize that computers can do more than get online. I understand the Nintendo'esqe desire to expand a product's ownership base, but do they have to be so blatant and insulting? I asked my wife; she agreed, but she is also a Mac loving tech person herself. I think this is going to bite Dell in the butt, but I could be wrong. If I am, please let me know in the comments. I would love to know that all women care about is cute email checking devices.
