Deck Legend Keyboard
So being a true and proper geek, I play lots of video games. Being a writer I also spend lots of time typing at the keyboard. Typically these two tasks put my keyboard needs in a bit of a quandary, as it is rare to find one keyboard that can perform both tasks well.
Recently, I have been using the Deck Legend back lit keyboard with the Toxic green lights. The Deck Legend Keyboard is excellent. One of the things many keyboards lack, and especially so in a gaming keyboards, is poor typing feel.
The keys tend to feel mushy and lack and real feedback to the typist. The Deck Legend Keyboard does not suffer from this problem. The keys of the Deck Legend Keyboard have excellent feel and give feedback via clicks so touch typists will feel right at home.
The down side of the Deck Legend Keyboard is that it is loud. Don't expect to use the Deck Legend Keyboard in a dorm or bedroom with someone else trying to sleep. The Deck Legend Keyboard is a 105 key design and is available with four different back lit colors; gold, toxic green, fire red and ice blue.
While the deck keyboard looks like a normal keyboard it does a great job gaming. My Deck Legend Keyboard came with a little tool allowing me to remove the keys and add different keytops to it. I changed the WASD keys to some gamer oriented ones with arrows for directional movement. There are also other keys that have blanks so you can put your own symbols on them.
Additional preprinted gaming keys include a cross-hair and a hand flying the full bird. Presumably, the full bird key is for the taunt function some games feature. It is hard to find fault with the Deck Legend Keyboard. You can even find instructions on the Deck website helping you to fully mod your keyboard.

I became addicted to the Deck Legend keyboard from the outset. I now have a second one coming in to use at work. It is a pure joy to type on. The key lighting is incredible, but I purchased it for the way it types. The key noise is not unpleasant. Keystroke is smooth to the bottom. Great investment.
