Daystar Announces XtraView Update
I'm a little surprised that daystar Technology, the maker of the XLR8 XtraView, hasn't been buried under lawsuits from the MPAA, but indeed the opposite seems to be true: the company just announced an update to its video transfer tool, adding more features and device support. I'm guessing the product survives the harsh glare of the Man because of its 640×480 maximum resolution and analog-only connection, but if you need to transfer video from everything from DVRs to security systems (and you have a Mac), the XtraView sounds like a good bet.
