Datadots Help Prevent Gadget Theft

If you have a laptop or other gadget like a PDA or phone that you really love and want to help reduce the chance of it being stolen, check out Datadots. Datadots can be described as unique DNA for any product. The dots are tiny, about the size of a grain of sand, and are applied in a UV reactive base that places thousands of dots on the surface of the device you are protecting. The dots are laser engraved with a unique serial number for your specific device. After application of the dots, you register the device to the Datadots serial number and if it is ever stolen your chances of recovering the device can go up by as much as 60%. You can learn more on the Datadots site.
