Depending where you come from there might be a cultural shock if you go to Britain (to study), and to make that shock less powerful the students at University of Portsmouth are developing a game called C-Shock that will hopefully help everyone.
Nipan Maniar (seen on the image) is the person responsible for the project, coming from India he suffered the obvious cultural shock 5 years ago and doesn't want other people to feel the same.
The game follows an International student arriving in the UK for the first time. The aim of the game is to reduce the character's 'culture shock' rating from a default of 100 to zero by performing a series of tasks that introduce culture shock-inducing incidents and images.
On the future he also wants the game to include general (but important) data, like information about the location of banks, ATMs, and other crucial stuff.
