Cross platform flaws in biometric security mass storage

Engadget again, with a nice article on why your flash storage with 'biometric security' isn't likely to work that well on all platforms.

In short, USB ain't meant to do that, so anything which reckons is does is faking it at the driver level, and we all know how good vendors are at writing cross platform drivers...
