Con & Con: Solving the World's Cable Problems with Mod Style
I hate wires with a passion that might be described as slightly sick. I recently spent two days rearranging my desk at work because the wires were cluttering things too much and it still bothers me that my work desk is built for computer towers and laptops in mind - wire clutter threatens to overwhelm things at every turn, despite my best efforts.

Italian designer Con & Con can't help me with my computer wires, but they do have an interesting solution for all of those charger wires that came with your portable gadgets. For the steep price of $180, you get a two-foot-tall gray or orange plastic-and-metal stand called the Ebase, which stores your "power bar" (is that hip furniture style speak for "power strip?") and any charging devices under its cover, with slots to feed through separate wires, keeping the tangles away. I wouldn't say it's as brilliant as the A+R Store might have you think, but it's still an interesting idea that may or may not match your living room's decor.
