Charge Your USB Devices With Audio?

Enter the Inflight Power Recharger. It uses something that's guaranteed to be in every seat: the headset jack. How does this work? Apparently, if you find a really loud channel and turn the audio system up all the way, and you let it sit for a while, there will be enough power to charge devices that have a USB charging cable.
The secret? Capacitors, which store the energy captured from the audio system and pumps it out through the USB port. It takes a few minutes to store up enough energy to actually charge anything. To help keep things consistent, you can also seed the device with 2 AAA batteries.
I recorded a video demonstrating how this device works.
