Cell Phone Video Shows LAPD Showing how it’s Done…Again

What is it about the LAPD that not only puts them on the wrong side of civil rights violations but makes them incompetent enough to get caught doing it…on a cell phone video…not once, not twice, but three times in the past week? The most recent incident involves a student at UCLA who was Tasered after supposedly resisting arrest in the UCLA library, although witnesses dispute that the student, Mostafa Tabatabainejad, actually refused to leave the library when asked to do so. In any case, much like the film of the Rodney King arrest in 1991, a bystander, in an interesting of a cell phone camera that probably won't make it into Verizon or T-Mobile commercials, thought to use technology to provide a viewpoint other than that of the official report. It will be interesting to see if anything further comes from the matter as a result.
