CA Tries a New Tactic in Flash Drive Design
Presumably looking for a way to help their products shine in a competitive market, manufacturer CA has developed a new 2 GB flash drive shaped like a credit card. The idea is that the Internet Security Flash Drive will fit in your wallet, making it easier to carry around than the keychain drives that current infest the market. As an added bonus, the drive comes with CA internet security suite 2007, which acts as a virus scanner, personal firewall, anti-spyware and anti-spam device from within the drive, with only 70 MB of space consumed. Whether or not you think $70 for a paltry 2 GB of flash drive space is worth the price is a good question, but CA certainly has an interesting idea.
