Buying Movie Tickets Via Cell Phone
A few weeks back I wrote about phone users in Japan replacing their ATM cards with specially equipped cell phones. Now cell phone users in China can purchase movie tickets via their cell phones without waiting in line at the box office.
This sounds like a very cool service and one that I could see being popular. Seems no matter what part of the world we reside, no one like to stand in lines at the movies. Now if they could just set it up so we could order pop corn and a keg 'o soda from the cell phone as well. This new service is set to be available in a month for movie fans in Beijing.
