Mobile Phones
by Shane McGlaun on April 27, 2006

Wireless Venture Partners is devising a new way to sell mobile phones, plans, accessories and pre-paid air time, via vending machines. No details or images of these vending machines are available currently, but this is certainly a novel idea. Walk up to the vending area at the train station and grab a bag of chips and a Blackberry. The idea is to make buying new cellular service and plans available around the clock. sounds like a good plan, but I wonder how well it will work in use assuming the idea ever makes it that far. You can read more details from the company press release here.
