Bushnell GPS Offers a Small GPS for a Small Price

Until recently, I have owned a Garmin eTrex Venture – it died. I have loved having a gps forever. I use it for geocaching, finding my car in a crowded parking lot, and for hiking. I didn't want to pay a few hundred dollars for a new stand alone GPS, so I until now, I have limped by with my iPhone 3G GPS, which I am afraid to take hiking or geocaching for fear that it will be destroyed. Now that I have found the Bushnell BackTrack GPS system, I can get back to adventure.
The Bushnell BackTrack GPS system has all of the features, even if they are stripped down a tad, that you need in a stand alone GPS device. You get a high sensitivity SiRF Star III receiver in a weather resistant case, digital compass, storage for three data points, and a detachable lanyard. Now, I know the specs seem a bit underwhelming, but the whole thing only runs $59.99. At that price, this GPS is a fantastic value.
The Bushnell BackTrack GPS system is available now from Amazon. My order is already in. Heck for $60, it might be cool to get one as a keychain.
