Bulletproof

This isn't a new product, but something I stumbled across when visiting Handstands' site for my previous post. Listed on the front page is a link to the iSnug Video Set, a video iPod case package that, according to the blurb on the front page, "includes Lanyard & bullet proof shield links

." Intrigued, I took a closer look: the bullet proof shield in question turns out to be the "Duravú Bullet Proof iPod Shield", which is Hungarian for "piece of adhesive plastic that protects the front and back of the iPod from scratches." I can't tell if it's truly bulletproof, but it so, it would make the iPod a modern stand in for those movies where a character doesn't die because the object he's carrying in his jacket pocket takes a bullet for him.
