Brando’s USB Chessboard
If you're a hardcore chess nerd who likes to play online the old fashion way – one move at a time, by email – you might find this USB chessboard from Brando an interesting find. Besides featuring a roll-up mat and a computer interface so you can play against a computer, you can play against a friend by emailing a text file or sending a screen shot of the board. It's a bit of a clunky way to do things, but if you're into the slow style and don't like playing chess (exclusively) on a screen, I could see how it would be worth the money.
