Boynq iCube II
Boynq has created an interesting and fashionable iCube II, an "integrated docking station" for MP3 players that comes in mauve or black. It puts out more sound than you would expect from a device that small.

The iCube II connects via AC cord and powers the speaker, but if you want power to your iPod, you'll need to connect the iPod sync cord. There are line-outs on the iCube II for your stereo, and plenty of iPod docks.

You can get it for about $49 USD, and it fills the room with hypnotic light.
