Blompo: The Gadget Review Aggregator

. They're a tough thing to find; half the time you're stuck with a two word customer review ("It's awesome!" - ok, but why, genius?) or splog results that make you want to stab your eyes out - or possibly the eyes of jerk who created the page. Enter Blompo.com, a new site that uses the Google Search API to pull up gadget reviews that Blompo filters to only include results from the "best review sites on the net." Usage is pretty simple: type in the gadget you want to search for and Blompo pulls up lists of results, Google style.
I was, of course, quite intrigued, so I went over to Blompo.com to check things out. Overall, it's a cool little service that will only get better as they expand coverage, but I did notice two oddities:
- Blompo includes links from the product manufacturer quite prominently in the search results. Not exactly the most objective review source there, guys.
- None of the reviews I've done (for a few different sites) show up. Very disappointing, Blompo. Very disappointing. Are we suggesting that my reviews are not reputable? For shame. For shame.
