It's setup was somewhat simple, but after that the interface with its mini-trackball does take a little getting used to. Once you have mastered it, you can pretty much do anything from surfing the web to checking your email. Oh, by the way, it can do phone calls, and I'm told it is the first BlackBerry CDMA that can roam globally without having to make any changes.
Not bad, but keep in mind this is for businesspeople. There is no obligatory camera included, but you can use a microSD card for some video and audio action.
If this floats your boat, you can get the BlackBerry 8830 with Verizon for $399.99 with a 2-year contract. In fact, the company will take $100 off if you subscribe soon.
