Three tools are included the package: a flashlight, a drill/screwdriver, and a cut saw. The flashlight was surprisingly bright and will last at least four hours on a fully charged battery. The screwdriver was fairly powerful-almost too powerful as it doesn't seem to know when to stop if you don't. The cut saw was able to make quick work of some small boards I fed it.
When I first got the package, I was explaining the starter kit to my wife. She liked the idea, but her first observation was important: you mean all those tools have to share one battery, as in there's only one battery included in the package? Yes, she's right. Only one battery and three tools.
And the tools themselves? Adequate, but lacking accessories, such as additional drill/screwdriver bits and additional blades for the cut saw.
According to a different review of this product I read, if you buy the tools outside of the starter pack, you get the accessories. So it's not like they don't have the accessories, they just don't include them in the starter pack.
I still think this is a nice system concept, but I think the starter pack could use a bit more. You're better off buying the tools and chargers you need separately. The starter pack just doesn't cut it for my tastes.

I PURCHASED A BLACK & DECKER VPX STARTER SET AND WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE TOOLS. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE I COULD FIND WAS THAT THEY DID NOT COME WITH A PRMANENT CARRYING CASE. WELL I DID SOMETHING ABOUT THAT AND DESIGNED A VERSATILE CASE THAT HOLDS THE STARTER SET AND MUCH MORE. CHECK OUT MY PLANS FOR THE CASE AT MY WEB SITE WWW.PLUGINTOMYPLANS.COM

Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap. http://www.batteryfast.com.au
