This video is amazing as is the technology involved. The i-LIMB bionic arm, developed by award winning Touch Bionics, enables Evan Reynolds to do what he used to be able to do before he had a violent car accident in 2006. All to often, the focus of technology is on the latest cell-phone, gaming system, or i-Pod charge station. In reality, it is this kind of technological application that is what the future is all about.
Yes, technology should assist, education, help us be more productive and even entertain, but when cool tech can make a person's life better in a tangible way - that is cool. Check out the video below; it is amazing the fine level of control that the i-LIMB bionic arm gives Evan Reynolds.
