Better Stress Control Through Too Much Money
Stress: who doesn't have it? Although having some stress is supposed to help the keep the blood flowing and all that, too much stress is a killer that shortens your life, ruins your relationship and generally makes things less fun. By that token, anything that reduces stress is probably a good thing, right? Especially if it involves completely natural processes like breathing? Well, sort of. firstSTREET has a product called the Stress Eraser, which uses biofeedback, flash memory and glowing green lights to help you relax by slowing your heart rate and increasing your oxygen level, all through deep breathing. Sounds pretty nice, but it costs a cool $299. Anyone that interested in breath control should probably go check out a book on transcendental meditationlinks from their local library and the same effect...for free.
