Best Buy is introducing "Best Buy Express," a line of vending machines located in major US airports. These vending machines will dole out, much like an actual Best Buy Retail store, high priced electronics with little or no support or expertise. I am joking of course, but I don't know how comfortable I would feel pressing E-5 for an iPod Touch and having it pop out of the bottom of a machine.
A bigger part of this picture is the concept of impulse buy. After all, part of a vending machine's purpose is to meet a consumer's immediate and impulse needs by supplying junk on the spot. Have iPods, digital cameras, and USB drives become so common place and ubiquitous that they are now impulse buys on the same level as a KitKat Bar and a Dr. Pepper?
You can look for Best Buy Express vending machines in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and San Francisco. They should be hitting the streets by September 1st. So, the next time your flight is running late grab your Cinnabon, Ugly Croc shoes, and your iPod Touch and relax.

This is a good move by Best Buy. There is a Belkin stand in the airport I go to and it is busy all the time. If you need an adapter, you need it and you're willing to pay airport prices for it.
