Belkin Laptop Cooling Stand

It's amazing how working on a laptop inevitably results in the "hotseat effect" (not an official term). Maybe you've experienced it for yourself. You're sitting there on a hot day, just doing your work, and suddenly you are aware of an ever increasing burning sensation on your lap. Even though it's good to know you've got power, power disrupts.

Fortunately, the Belkin company has a cool solution with a Cooling Stand designed specifically to prevent this. With a fan located at the base, it provides enough cool air to counteract the hotseat effect. The best part about this device is that it is completely powered by your USB, so you won't have to worry links

about constantly changing batteries.

So far, the device doesn't seem to appear on Belkin's website. (Although, I must confess I have no idea what it's formal name is.) But the word is it should be available next month for about $30 USD.
