I got a chance to view Belkin's Flywire at CES this year, and I was impressed with it. The Flywire is a box that can transmit HDTV from your DVD, cable box, or Apple TV to your television without wires.
All you need to do is hook up the video sources to the transmitter, and then hook the receiver to your video output to the receiver. The wireless signal does not compress the signal, and it is possible to have multiple inputs.
Now you can get rid of that mess of wires behind your TV and put your video input devices wherever you want them. The Belkin Flywire will be available in October but it will cost $1,000. There are rumors of a scaled down $700 version becoming available sometime next year.
